Evergreen and Lady Bazzers

Greetings and happy Monday. Well, it's Monday anyway, and at least here in the States it's a short work week. Yippee!!

So, as you are aware, it has been stupid busy here at the orifice of late. Don't get me wrong, though. In my mind, busy = job security. Nonetheless, my skin has taken on the colour of skimmed milk because I don't see much of the sun other than that which reflects off of ye olde computer screen.

Recognizing this fact (and also wanting to cash a check that I received last week), I ventured out into the great outdoors during the noon hour. Interestingly, I ran across this:

If'n you're not so sure what you're looking at, let me tell you. This is the view from the corner of Dearborn Street and Washington Street in the Daley Plaza (the big open square where that Picasso horsey/birdy-looking statue is located). I work one block from here. The columned building is City Hall. Oh yeah, and that big blob in the middle there is the Christmas tree being put together. I thought it was kind of cool to actually see the cranes lifting up the several large trees that make up the giant tree. After this, they'll decorate it with giant ornaments and bulbs, then they'll light it up in a big ceremony on Friday. Pretty nifty, eh?

Anyway, the tree isn't the only thing sparkling in Chicago these days. Check this out:

Yes, dear reader, feel honoured indeed. These are my very own twinkling ta ta's; my blinged-out boobies posted right here on the internet. And for those of you who happen to be curious about such things, yes they're real. :-)

As for the shirt, isn't it totally rockin'? Remember how I mentioned that the P's went out west? While they were there they saw Sir Elton John in concert. See the connection now? Might I just add in case Sir Elton is reading this that I adore him and his music and have for as long as I can remember. I even had a crush on him way back in the 70's (go figure - somehow I always love me the gay guys). I saw him live in Madrid in 1988 and wish I had the opportunity to go see him at Caeser's in Las Vegas. My mama knows me well and knows I'd be proud to wear any shirt proclaiming that I'm a Babe In Total Control of Herself shirt, let alone one referring to a hit sung by one of my favorite artists!

So that's pretty much it for today, my preciousessss. Hope the remainder of your Monday is holly jolly!
